Telehealth – Distanced Services
We provide counselling services online

Telehealth sessions are offered through Infinite Wellbeing, LLC and can be a great tool in the event that a client is sick, has transportation barriers, or mobility concerns.
While telehealth services allow for greater convenience in service delivery, there are risks in transmitting information over the internet that include, but are not limited to: breaches of confidentiality, theft of personal information, and disruption of service due to technical difficulties which may not be under the control of either your clinician or yourself. It is also important to note that misunderstandings are possible with telehealth services due to connection issues which may result in image delays or less than optimal image quality. Behavioral Health staff often gather information from body language, vocal inflection, eye contact, and other non-verbal cues. Please note that additional communication to clarify needs may need to occur with your clinician to ensure understanding of your needs may need to occur when engaging in telehealth services.
Unless otherwise notified by Infinite Wellbeing, LLC, telehealth services may be a covered benefit under your insurance plan and co-pays and deductibles will apply. The same No-Show and Cancellation policies listed above remain in effect. Documentation of telehealth services will be created and stored in the same EHR system as any note created from a face-to-face appointment/session. Such documentation falls under the same legal, professional, and contractual guidelines as any document stored as the result of a face-to-face appointment/session. As a client, you will have access to information resulting from the telehealth service to the extent required by State and Federal law. As a client you have the right to withhold or withdraw consent to use telehealth in the course of your care at any time so long as it is provided in writing in accordance with State and/or Federal law without affecting your right to future care or treatment.
You should expect the anticipated benefits such as improved access to care and more efficient evaluation and management from the use of Telehealth, E-visit or Virtual visit, but no results can be guaranteed or assured. In an emergency situation, you should understand that the responsibility of the Telehealth, E-visit or Virtual visit specialist or provider may be to direct you to emergency medical services, such as the emergency room. Or the Telehealth provider may discuss with and advise your local provider. The Telehealth, E-visit or Virtual visit specialist’s or provider’s responsibility will end upon the termination of the Telehealth, E-visit or Virtual visit connection.
For certain cases, Telehealth services may not be appropriate, including cases in which you have numerous concerns about the risks of internet counseling, if you have active suicidal or homicidal thoughts, or if you are experiencing active manic/psychotic symptoms. Additionally, based on clinical need, your clinician may require you to attend in person sessions. Further, telehealth sessions cannot be held if you are located in another state, as different laws, regulations, and licensure practices differ by state. If needed, referrals to more appropriate referrals can be reviewed with Infinite Wellbeing staff.
